COMMANDER’S CORNER On January 17,1992, the Indiana War Memorial Commission unanimously approved a site for the “Vietnam-Korean Memorial’’. The site selected is located between North St. and St. Clair St., bordering on the Meridan Street side of this block. The proposal that was approved by the War Memorial Commissin was then presented at a meeting on February 1, 1992, in Kokomo to 19 various veterans organizations and again was unanimously approved. There will be one more commission that will have to consider the proposed site which will meet in March. If this commission approves the site then the finalized site will be announced.
