FALCONS DROP JIMTOWN IN NSC CONTEST The John Glenn Falcons won their ninth game of the season and fourth in conference play as they defeated the visiting Jimtown Jimmies 67-44 Friday night. After the Jimtown team stayed within reasonable reach the first half, the Falcons pulled away in the second 16 minutes to win by 23. They allowed the Jimmies only 15 points in the second half, including just six baskets. The Falcons, behind another steady performance by Kevin Stedman, jumped to a 19-15 first quarter lead as Stedman and Toby Gardner each had six first quarter points. Stedman continued his attack in the second and third periods as he got six more in each of these

REAL SERVICES NEWS WALKERTON Coming attractions for the Walkerton area seniors are the bake sale and white elephant combo that's always fun and ummm-so good too. It will be held on Friday, February the seventh, at the site, during the regular meal time. As we mentioned before, the senior cooks have had years of experience behind them and they really go all out for this occasion. Last week our chairpersons presented some very interesting and entertaining programs of great interest to all of us, we really appreceiate their efforts. We want to thank Vi Wolff, Maxine Worthington and Evelyn Platz for their well received program. Their fiddle, piano, tambourine and voice selections are our kind of music and we hope they will come again soon.
