NORTH LIBERTY NEWS By Gladys Sheneman On Friday. Jan. 17, Lindsay O'Connor attended an Indiana Pacers basketball game as a ball girl. It was a great experience. She got to meet pro basketball players and sit right behind the basket. For being a ball girl she got a jacket, T-shirt, shoes, autographed basketball and her picture taken with Reggie Miller and talked with Scott Skiles. Her parents, Jack and Linda O'Connor also got free tickets. Lindsay was selected by her Uncle Larry and the Finish Line Store the chance to attend this event. Well, old man winter finally arrived and really came in with a vengeance and it looks like he might hang around for awhile. Not much news this week as everyone stayed home and watched it snow and tried to keep warm as it did get down below zero and that’s really cold. Steve and Joan Rudynski and daughter, Ann and son, Dustin, were supper guests of Aletha Croy on Thursday evening. week, I received a letter from k Margie Trobaugh, who is in Florida. 1 know many are leaving for Florida and want to attend the North Liberty and Walkerton reunion to be held at the Elks, in Sebring, Florida, on Tuesday, Feb. 11. She would like for you to call or write to this address: David Trobaugh, 12 Edgewater Drive So., Lake Placid, FL 33852, telephone number 813-465-3073 or Bill Bauman, 265 Ist Ave., Lake Placid, FL 33852, telephone number 813-465-7354. They report it is real cool down there, so guess we might as well stay here, watch the birds and let it snow. Just called out at Potato Creek State Park and they had a very busy week, lots of skiers, children going tubing down the hill, guys out ice fishing and many driving out to see the deer. They are only going to be open from 9 to 5 over the weekends to go cross country skiing. Many activities are being planned at the Nature Center each weekend for you to see and enjoy.

Please remember to feed the birds. I have some new kind of birds that 1 have never had before. The only trouble is, I can’t keep their feeders filled up, since the ground is covered with snow.
