We play cards every Tuesday and Thursday, and if you don't care for cards, bring along a table game or knitting or what have you, you can still join in the fellowship. On the 14th of January we will hold our birthday party for those having January birthdays. We will hold our monthly blood pressure clinic on Jan. 21 with Verice Walz, R.N. as our chairperson. Then on the 29th, Violet Wolff and Maxine Worthington will be on hand to furnish our kind of music. Our chairpersons really go all out to bring us interesting programs. Among the chairpersons are Hazel and Harold Schweder, Ervin Stuntz, Virgil Gwin. Bob Shaffer, Virgil Spellman, Verice Walz and Mildred Smith. Topics last week ranged from living wills, the proposed new school, a set of twins, one bom on the 31st of December and one on January Ist. Some of the topics are amusing and some are important facts, and all are interesting. We encourage outside interest groups who have something to share to contact Betty Clapper at 586-7600 and let her know when you can come. We also enjoy hearing musical programs from the schools and private sources. Eight nursing home residents visited the site last week and many of them come as often as possible.
