LINDER L PEARISH Linder L. Pearish, 57, of Route 5, Box 4, Walkerton, passed away at 12:34 a.m. on Sunday, December 29, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend. He was born on December 27, 1934, in Walkerton. He married Darlene Aardema, on July 31, 1955, in Walkerton, who survives. He retired as a pipefitter for Uniroyal, in Mishawaka. Also surviving are a daughter, Dawn Pearish, of Walkerton; five sisters, Pearl Wright and Betty Essling, both of LaPorte, Virginia Gourley, of Rolling Prairie, Opal Berry, of South Bend and Janice Kersey, of Valparaiso; and four brothers, Robert, of Plymouth, Paul, of Walkerton and Ralph and Jerry, both of Koontx Lake. Services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel, with Pastor Rob Gates, officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Walkerton. He was a former member of the Walkerton and Koontz Lake Fire Departments and Walkerton EMS. MARIE E. KINAS Marie E. Kinas. 83, of 63859 Thorn Road, North Liberty, passed away at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, December 27, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend. She was born on January 14, 1906, in South Bend and moved to North Liberty 43 years ago from Mishawaka. Surviving are three daughters, Jeanne Morris and Peg Kesler, both of South Bend and Sharon Wesolek, of Mill Creek; a son, John of Long Beach, Calif.; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchild-ren. Services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday in the Palmer Funeral Home, Lakeville with burial in Eastlawn Cemetery, North Liberty. She was a member of the Community Baptist Church, in South Bend. Memorial contributions may be made to the church. HERMINA BRINKHOFF Hermina Brinkhoff, 74, of 20915 New Road, Lakeville, passed away at 9:45 p.m., on Saturday, December 28, in her home. She was born on December 29, 1916, in Westerfoort, Netherlands and lived in the area for 44 years coming from the Netherlands. As Hermina Tenßosch she married Herman F. Brinkhoff on April 3, 1947, in Westerfoort. He preceded her in death on May 10,1991. Surviving is a daughter, Albertha Birk, of North Liberty; two sons, Herman F. Jr., of North Liberty and Gerrit, of Bremen; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Dina Coppel, Betsie Gerritsen and Metje Arts, all of the Netherlands and a brother, Gerrit Tenßosch. of the Netherlands. Services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the Maple Grove United Methodist Church with burial in Westlawn Cemetery, North Liberty. Miko. 82, of 204 Harrison St., North Liberty, passed away at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday, December 28, in her home. She was bom on Sept. 16, 1909, in St. Joseph County and lived in North Liberty since 1978, coming from South Bend. She was the former coowner of Fran and Ruth's Beauty Service. Surviving is a daughter, Gloria Platz, of North Liberty; a son, Doyal Rhymer, of South Bend; eight grandchildren; 13 greatgrandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren and a sister, Irene Kirkpatrick, of Lakeville. A son, Roy, preceded her in death in 1980. Graveside services and burial were held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Eastlawn Cemetery, North Liberty.
