FALCONS WIN OVER TRITON 34 - 0 FRIDAY The John Glenn Falcons picked up their first victory of the season with a solid 34-0 win at Triton Friday night. Senior fullback Dennis Kaiser led the way with 149 yards rushing on 21 carries, including a 31 yard touchdown run. Jason Fisher tallied 89 yards on 13 tries, including touchdown runs of 43 yards and 1 yard. The Glenn defense held Triton to 84 total yards as the young Falcons continue to improve. Senior Shane Carbiener, junior Brian Perry and freshman Jeff Kaiser recovered fumbles for Glenn. Perry, senior Scott Hall, and junior Pat Speckhart made interceptions with Perry returning his 52 yards for a touchdown. The Falcons improve their record to 1-3 while Triton dropes to 0-4. John Glenn hosts South Central at 7:30 p.m. in the 1991 Homecoming. This is at the last home football game against New Prairie starting at 7:30 p.m. We will be recognizing all senior boys and girls who have participated in football, cross country, tennis, volleyball, cheerleading, Crimson Illusion and marching band, along with their parents. Senior football players, cheerleaders and their parents will be honored during the pre-game ceremonies and should assemble in front of the home bleachers at 7:15 p.m. Parents with seniors in cross country, tennis, volleyball. Crimson Illusion and the band should meet in front of the home bleachers immediately following the first half of the game.
