The matron of honor was Kathy Roberts, sister of the groom. Plymouth. Bridesmaids were Vickie Matz, Walkerton, and Lynette Scarborough. Grovertown. The best man was Robin Roberts. brother-in-law of the groom. Plymouth. Groomsmen were Mike Hayes. Hamlet, and Don Miles. Walkerton. Ushers were John Dreessen, Hamlet, and Brian Cecrle, Walkerton. The flower girl was Stacey Bates, cousin of the bride. Walkerton. The ring bearer was Brad Hacker, cousin of the groom, Brogerville. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Sherwood and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Sherwood, all of Walkerton. Mrs. Hayes, a 1989 graduate of John Glenn High School, is employed at the Marshall County License Branch. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Hayes. Hamlet, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. William White. Plymouth. He is a 1988 graduate of Oregon-Davis High School and a winter graduate of Purdue University. He is currently self-employed as an agricultural engineer. After taking a wedding cruise to the Bahamas, the couple returned to reside at Hamlet. Anyone who is approached by one of these individuals is encouraged to refuse their help and then contact the Indiana State Police immediately. It should also be noted that the motivation of these imposters appears to only be money. No one has reported being assaulted or physically harmed in anv way.
