Both Glenn games to date have been conference games and they are 0-2 while Knox evened their record at 1-1 and are 1-0 in conference play. In the opening period, Mike Dan scored on the end of a 43 yard pass from Shawn Mclntire on a trick play as quarterback bounced a lateral to Mclntire as an apparent run and he picked it up and tossed it to Dan for the scoring play. A run failed, but Knox had grabbed the lead 6-0. In the second period, the Redskins drove for their second TD with a 10 yard pass from Gay Brown to Dan culminated the drive. Bill Wakai ran the conversion play for two points and it was 14-0 at halftime. A long pass from Brown to Mclntire covered 65 yards for Knox’s third score and later in the quarter Bill Dulin capped a drive with a one yard run with Mclntire kicking both extra points. This made it 28-0 after three. Knox scored on a safety early in the fourth period and then Eric Upp intercepted the pass that was returned 93 yards for their final score of the night. Glenn ended the scoring in the game late with a 2 yard run by Rusty Peterson push-

The young Falcons just haven’t been able to generate much offense yet this year and the defense is spending a lot of time on the field. This game not only included the big plays, but also had 15 punts between the two teams as sustaining drives was not a common offensive weapon Friday night. Glenn VWta LaVllle Friday LaVille's Lancers will host the Falcons Friday night at 7:30 as the Falcons still seek their first win of the year. After a season opening victory over Plymouth, which they legally had to forfeit for an ineligible player, the Lancers were pounded by the strong Jimtown team Friday night. In their second game, the team played at Knox and were defeated 33-12. Scoring for the Falcons were Andy Dobbs on a 35 yard paas play from Jason Bare and Aaron Williams, on a five yard run off right guard.
