They have two children, Durand (Randy), of Grovertown and Karen Hewitt, of Stuart, lowa. They also have six grandchildren. Mr. Johnson is a retired fanner. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Urbin enjoyed dinner with Mr. Urbin's cousins on Saturday evening, at Jeremiah Sweeney's. In all 18 were in attendance coming from California, Ohio, Illinois and Indiana. A surprise birthday party was held at Holly's Landing for Elaine Vandall on Friday, July 19th. LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL JOURNALISTS ATTEND BALL STATE WORKSHOPS The Ball State University Journalism Workshops is in its 26th year of providing educational opportunities for high school journalists. Christy Burkholder from John Glenn participated in a weeklong program of intensive study at the largest high school journalism workshop of its kind. Over 200 students spent the week attending classes, lectures and lab sessions to learn more about yearbooks and photojournalism. Students will return to school in the fall better prepared to tackle the challenges and responsibilities associated with being a high school journalist.
