BECKY FOSTER RECEIVES HONORS Becky Foster, daughter of Janies F. Foster, of Ashland, Ohio, and granddaughter of Helen Lazarek, of Walkerton, recently was honored by Ashland High School, at Ash* land, Ohio, for being the RBI Leader (30), and having the top batting average of .463. She is a junior and plays first base on the Ashland High School varsity girls softball team. Becky also received the following awards: Ist Team Northwest District of Ohio, Ist Team All Ohio Heartland Conference, Ist Team All-Area by the Ashland Times Gazette, and 2nd Team All-State. She set a new career record home runs (8), new single season RBI record (30), and new single season record of 5 home runs at Ashland High School. Her sister, Celeste, a senior, received most improved player, a second year varsity award, and was on the 2nd team All-Area by the Ashland Times Gazette, for the season just concluded.
