Hardesty. Stacy is the son of Mrs. Reva Hardesty, of Plymouth, and ther late Wayne Hardesty, Sr. The future bride is a prospective 1991 graduate of John Glenn High School and plans to attend Indiana University at South Bend in the spring of 1992. The future groom is currently employed at Aker Plastics, in Plymouth. A June 29thy wedding ceremony is planned for three o’clock at Pine Creek Church of the Brethren. Charlotte, North Carolina were guests of their mother, Mrs. Jean Cole during the past week. On Tuesday evening they were guests of Mrs. Mary Jane Beaty, then on Thursday evening, all joined Mr. and Mrs. Bob Cole, of Niles, for dinner and a time of visiting, in New Buffalo. COMPETES IN GYMNASTIC MEET Member of the Studio Gymnastic Team, of Plymouth, competed in Class V, South Bend YMCA Invitational, on April 13. A member of the team is Elin Johnson, of Walkerton. Elin placed first on the balance beam; second in the uneven bars and vault; third in floor exercise and a first in all-around. The team finished fourth. REAL SERVICES WALKERTON Monday’s program was highlighted by Hazel Schweder's jokes. Harold worked on the books. Virgil Gwin chaired on Tuesday when we had our bakesale and auction. Fred Daniels was the lively auctioneer and he kept the bids rolling. Virgil also chaired on Wednesday. Joe Grezorek, from the South Bend REAL Services office, was on hand and talked to us about REAL Services. Virgil also served as chairperson on Thursday. Juice winners were Gale Mayfield and Lloyd Lemert. Friday’s sing-a-long was really super with Fred and Millie Daniels and Mildred Smith. Fridays are always special for us as we can hear and sing our kind of music. Be sure and mark Thursday, the 25th on your calendar. Florence Seekings and Verle Haag will be on hand to entertain us and they are always something special too. Coming up will be our April birthday party which will be held on April 29th. We will honor all those having birthdays in April.
