JOHN GLENN GOLF RESULTS The John Glenn golf team was defeated by New Prairie and Marian at Eberhart Golf Course April 11. Marian’s Brian Bognar led all golfers with a 2 over par 37. Marian’s team total of 163 was well belows New Prairie’s 202 and Glenn’s 207. For Glenn, John Johnson fired a 48, followed by Adam Jacob at 52, Dan Huizenga 53, Jamie Arce 54 and Chad Drews 58. Glenn’s record now stands at 1 win and 3 losses. Marian also won the JV match with a 193, followed by New Prairie at 227 and Glenn with a 257 total. Brent Hostrawser was low for Glenn with a 54 followed by Dan Schmeltz’s 59, Rickey Scott at 67 and Keely Jackson with a 77. Use The Classifieds

game of a doubleheader, the Oregon-Davis Bobcats were defeated 3-1 by the Washington Township Senators. Dust picked up the win for the Senators by striking out 10 Bobcat players and only walking 2. Bobcat pitcher Alan Davis struck out 3 Senators and did not give up any walks. Barney had one RBI for the Senators and Fosler had one for the Bobcats. In the second game the Cats looked in trouble early. After starter Rick Fosler and replacement Eric Stafford had troubles, sophomore Lance Campbell settled down the Cats defense by striking out 4 and not giving up any walks.
