TRI KAPPA NEWS The North Liberty Zeta Pi Chapter met April 10 at the North Liberty Community building. Preceding the business meeting the members enjoyed a most informative talk by Cathy Spence, a representative of “Citizens Against Crime” of Mishawaka. She spoke of ways to stay safe in the home, on the street, in and around your car and when traveling. She used audience participation which provided some humor along with the seriousness of the subjects. A brief candlelight ceremony was then held to celebrate the Chapter’s 22nd anniversary. Participating were Joyce Liggett, Tish McCormick, Irinda Slater and Patti Fisher. President Joyce Liggett opened the meeting with song and verse. All officers gave their reports. It was announced that the recent style show was a huge success. Our thanks go to all who attended and also to the numerous merchants who donated gifts. All proceeds will go towards scholarships. The Community Children's Project was held during Easter week with the second graders and some members making Easter baskets to give to the REAL Services attendees. Discussion was held concerning upcoming projects. Joyce Liggett presented five and ten year members with a bouquet of flowers. Those receiving were: Sue Kaser, Tish McCormick and Irinda Slater. Following the closing verse the meeting was adjourned. Cohostesses for the evening were Alice Quigley and Sandy Qingenpeel. The May 8 meeting will be held at the Community Building. This will be election of officers and a corporate meeting. FREE INDIANA CAMPGROUND DIRECTORY The annual edition of the Hoosier Camper is now available, just in time to plan those summer camping vacations and weekend camping trips. This year's all new directory contains information on Indiana campgrounds, RV parks, and recreation vehicle retailers. The directory has an easy-to-read section detailing the facilities available at Indiana campgrounds across the state as well as a listing of recreation vehicle retailers who may provide service in the event a problem occurs with a vehicle. The 1991 Hoosier Camper includes a state map showing the location of each campground in the directory. The Hoosier Camper is the official directory of the Recreation Vehicle Indiana Council, a not-for-profit trade association, representing more than 50 percent of the commercial campground sites in Indiana. The directory is provided as a free public service. This directory is available either by mail or in person. It can be picked up free of charge at most Indiana campgrounds, RV dealerships, tourist information centsers, and the Indiana Tourism Development Division. To receive a copy right away, send your name and address to: RVIC, Department HC, 3210 Rand Road, Indianapolis, IN 46241. SOUND INVESTMENT IN CONCERT Grace College's "Sound Investment” will be appearing in concert at the Lakeville Christian Church on April 21, at both the 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. services. “Sound Investment” is a fourpiece vocal group, accompanied by piano, synthesizers, trumpet and bass. The group is led by Professor Tim Newton from the Grace College music Department at Winona Lake, IN. This year’s program focuses on the theme of God's enduring love for us. The public is invited to either of these services.
