Steve and Betty Baker in Hemet, Calif, who lived in Walkerton several years ago. They enjoyed looking at the new Walkerton United Methodist Church directory and learning about old friends and relatives. On March 23rd, Mr. and Mrs. John McCall, of Bakersfield, Calif., came to help us all celebrate birthday no. 2 of Bret Roberts, of Camarilla, Ca. He is the greatgrandson (number 8). for Mrs. Beaty. The weather seemed much cooler and drier than usual his winter but I’m sure much better than in Indiana. I enjoyed the winter with the Roberts families very much but I am glad to be home again.
