After the opening song and verse, secretary Barbara Rohrer and treasurer Mary Hoover gave their reports. Correspondence was shared which included tickets and information about the North Liberty Zeta Pi Style Show scheduled for March 19. Some of Epsilon Chi’s members are planning to attend. Kim Towle reported on the Art Show which is quickly aproaching. Ideas for posters were given. Members selected times to work before, during, and after the festival. The Little League committee will begin working on this year's calendar. At the April meeting members will be asked to sign up for specific dates to work at the concession stand. The nominating committee will present a slate of officers at the April meeting. Bylaw admendment changes were read by president Wilma Huizcnga. Chages were voted upon and were approved. Our delegates to convention are anticipating an exciting and informative time. April will be the next birthday party at Miller's Merry Manor for Epsilon Chi to host. The scholarship committee will be working with the high school concerning this year’s scholarship winners. Our geranium project is underway. The beautiful plants will be available from any Epsilon Chi member from now until Mother's Day. Our mental health report will be given in April. Second readings of petitions for new members were made and voting was held. Refreshments were served by hostesses for the evening, Jill Hostetler, Annette Hefflefinger and Wilma Huizenga. The next meeting will be April 4th. Ants can be frozen for long periods without harm. Many spend the winter inside logs and stumps, coated with ice crystals.
