with Dipert's 447 and Goldie Lauzon's 427 placing 2nd and 3rd, respectively. The ladies had a fine day! The gents enjoyed a good day, also. High scratch game was Harold Schweder's 216, with Roman Brehm’s 206 second, Steve Bencze’s 203 third, and Bob Spillman's 202 fourth. The number of games rolled above 200 in a single session set a new high for the group. High handicap game was Brehm's 243, just topping Spillman's 241. Schweder’s 237 games was third, just a six pin spread! High series total was Schweder’s 588, topping Bencze’s 573 and Jack Grimmett's 545 series. With an age range of 65 to 84 for the days top scorers, it is quite evident the gents take their "fun and exercise" seriously! Come join the seniors for your weekly outing for fun, games, exercise, and friendly exchange. Enjoy an afternoon with your lively friends and neighbors. Come see how the "cookies crumble"! REAL SERVICES NEWS WALKERTON Coming attractions for the REAL Services are the blood pressure clinic which will be held on February 28th at the site. Also our valentine’s party should really be fun and our special entertainment for the party will be Florence Seekings and Verle Haag who will once again treat us to their veryspecial kind of music. On the 19th of February, we will have another musical program offered by Madelyn Nelson and Charley Myers. Monday's program was both fun and serious. The fun part was Hazel Schweder and the more serious part was a talk about filling out our income taxes given by Mrs. Spillman. Jim Thibodeaux chaired on Tuesday and Joe Gregorek

chaired on Tuesday. Joe Greyorek from the South Bend office of REAL Services gave an interesting talk about volunteers and the site director and their various duties. We really enjoyed celebrating the February birthdays on Wednesday. Those honored were Clyde Stickley, Virgil Gwin, Iva Kring, Lloyd Lemert, Bob Smith and Woodie Cochran. Cake and ice cream was enjoyed by all. Thursday’s program was fun too, kind of a give away day, we had juice winners who were Ellen Cochran and Gale Malstaff, a bottle of malt vinegar was won by Art Kreibiel and a jar of mayonaise by Nora Hahn. Our Friday's sing-a-long was enjoyed by all with Vericc Walz at the piano and Mildred Smith as song leader. Don’t forget, two great musical programs are coming up and the blood pressure clinic. Have a great week.
