regular meeting held November 7, that the town was selected by MACOG to have a well protection study. Peerless Mid-West Co. will do the pumping study and CookOut of Ft. Wayne will do the deliniation study. Information will be available to the town. This study will be done at no cost to the

town as MACOG received a grant for this purpose. In other business, the board heard the first reading of Ordinance 1990-11 by town attorney John Peddycord. A 23.7% water rate increase is proposed. A hearing is set for Wednesday, January 9, 1991 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Hall. The minimum household water rate for 2000 gallons or less will be $7.05, an increase of $1.35 per month. The last water rate increase was in 1981. Heard—Burnham and Flower of Indiana of representative, Jonathan Koets of Indianapolis proposed insurance coverage for the Town. No action was taken until the council studies the proposal. Learned—F. &. R. Properties of North Liberty purchased the old lumber yard. Tom Fair, North Liberty and Wayne Rowe, Lakeville are the new owners. Fair said he and his partner are aware of the remedies needed to remove this property from the condemnation list. The property is zoned limited industrial. Two to five people are to be employed. Learned—Tax board reduced North Liberty proposed tax rate to $3.3992, an increase of 10.33 cents over last year. The Town’s assessed valuation is $1,718,531.00. Paul Williams, town clerk-treasur-er reported. Denied —Approval of proposed building plans for a lot located on Sylvia Drive by Andy Becker.

The council states this is a single with one water tap in. Received —A corporate warranty deed from Standard Insurance Co. for a lot on south Main St. which is used as a west access to the North Liberty Center. Adopted —Resolution 1990-03 for a tax abatement for ten years for a sturcture and equipment in the Industrial Park, The North Liberty Casting Co. A rope bridge and ax yard were built and woods tools safety was demonstrated to the boys. Then, a mile hike of exploring Rice Woods was completed. The troop enjoyed a camp fire lunch of beef dumpling stew, bread on a stick, banana boats, baked apples, and an afternoon desert of apple cobbler. The boys began a service project of opening up an old fire lane in Rice Woods. Troop 239 will be attending winter camp at Camp Topanebee on December 27, 28 and 29. 55 Saves Lives
