Rebekah Lodge. Pat Whitaker was introduced as a guest. It was reported Ruth Straker was sent a get well card and sympathy cards were sent to Alice Walker and Forence Erickson. It was agreed to pay $25.00 to the Walkerton Industrial Fund. Barb Burket conducted a raffle on a ham won by Edna Downey. The president announced those members who are in arrears with their dues will receive a reminder in the mail January 1. Those persons not making payment by Jan. 31 will be dropped from the membership. Those honored for their birthdays are Selma Pry, Carma Larson, Wanda Pontius, Mary Sester, Pearl McConnel and Helen Kennedy, who won the prize. It was agreed to give Martha Mull a life-time honorary membership. A word game was conducted with Jean Cole winning the prize. Door prize awards went to Norma Eddinger, Becky Reed and Meryl Dixon. Norine Divine won the fruit basket. Everyone exchanged gifts. Karen Johnson announced her committee to include Marie Howell, Darlene Pontius, Helen Kennedy, Helen Verkier, Violet Masterman, Cheryl Rizek, Denise Umbaugh, Mary Sester, Pearl Wooley, Joyce Umbaugh, Florence Erickson and Emily Nalepa.
