FALCONS DOWN NEW PRAIRIE FRIDAY NIGHT The John Glenn Falcons were never seriously threatened by the New Prairie Cougars Friday night as they recorded their second Northern State Conference victory and third win of the year. The Cougars fell 65-47 in a game they were really never in. Glenn’s record moved to 3-1 with the win, 2-0 in NSC play. Glenn jumped to a first quarter lead of 13-4 and by halftime had increased this to 28-11 to completely dominate the contest. In fact, the Cougars scored more points in the fourth quarter alone than they did in the entire first three periods. Kevin Stedman led the Falcons with 16 points, all from the floor. Kevin Winger had 14, also all on field goals and Jim Seiders had 13 as nine of the 10 boys playing for Glenn scored in this game. The Cougars were paced by Witkowski with 12 and Lapczynaki with 11 in the losing cause. In August of 1988, Margaret and her husband were sent by their church to Amarillo, Texas as domestic missionaries to establish a church in South Bend. It began with a weekly bible study in their home. As a preacher of the word, Margaret often flows in the anointing of prophesy. She has a heart for teaching, training, and drawing out the resources and treasurers which lie dormant in too many of God's people. Come expecting to receive a blessing. Babysitting is available.
