OBITUARIES

HENRY H. HAAG Henry H. Haag, 82, of Fourth Road, Tyner, passed away at 12:30 a.m., on Sunday, in his home. He was born on Dec. 2, 1908, in Marshall County. He married Thelma Baker on Feb. 14, 1931, in South Bend, who survives. He was a retired farmer. Also surviving are a daughter, Beverly Goldt, of Plymouth; two sons, Carl and Charles, both of Plymouth; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the Johnson Funeral Home, Plymouth, with burial in the Tyner Cemetery. He was a member of the Tyner United Methodist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to any charity. BONNIE D. PRICE Bonnie D. Price, 57, of 408 Van Buren Street, Walkerton, passed away at 10:36 a.m., on Sunday, Dec. 2, in the LaPorte Hospital after an illness. She was born on Nov. 25, 1933, in LaPorte and lived in Walkerton for 20 years coming from Mill Creek. As Bonnie Grage she married Clarence Junior Price, on June 18, 1966, in LaPorte, who survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Edna Williams, of Fish Lake, Laura Burrows, of Hamlet and Tonya Green, of Walkerton, two stepdaughters, Judy Bottoff, of Knox and Carmial IMce. of Walkerton; three sons, Keith Williams, of LaPorte, Greg Williams, of Hamlet and William Williams, of Italy; three stepsons, Carl J. and Dennis, both of LaPorte and Kenny Price, of Walkerton; 17 grandchildren; tow sisters, Blanche Grage and Laura Childress, both of Union Mills; and a brother, Paul Grage, of Union Mills. Services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the NusbaumElkin Funeral Home, Walkerton, with Rev. D.O. Van Dyne officiating. Burial was at Union Mills Cemetery. JOSEPH A. MINDER Joseph A. Minder, 64, of 533 S. Kosciusko Street, South Bend, passed away at 10:30 a.m., on Sunday, December 2, in his home after an illness. He was bom on March 4, 1926, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident. Surviving are four daughters, Sharon Weaver, Cynthia Minder and Sandra Hold, all of South Bend and Debra Bolger, of Louisiana; a son, Joseph, of Walkerton; 11 grandchildren; tow sisters, Catherine White and Bernetta White, both of South Bend and a brother, Raymond, of South Bend. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of Disabled American Veterans Chapter 39. Memorial services will be at a later date. Cremation will take place. There is no visitation. The St. Joseph Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. EARL SALYER Mr. Earl Salyer, 69, of 0502 W CR 1500 S, Hamlet, passed away on Sunday, November 25, at 8:53 p.m., at Porter Memorial Hospital, Valparaiso. He was born on March 22, 1921, in Salyersville, Kentucky and lived here for 54 years, coming from Salyersville. He married Ruth Jolley on April 28, 1944, in Knox, who preceded him in death on May 26, 1983. Surviving are two sons, Earl Dean, of LaPorte, Ernie, of North Judson; one step-brother, Elmer "Dude” Lambert, of North Liberty; three sisters, Ruth Weiland, of Indianapolis, Geneva Osborn, of Tenn, and Betty Wood, of LaPorte; one brother, Donald, of San Jose, Calif.; two granddaughters and a companion, Brenda Martin, of Hamlet. Services were held on Thursday, Nov. 29, at 1:00 p.m. at the Cannells Funeral Home, Hamlet Chapel, with Rev. Robert Klatt,

officiating. Burial was in Fletcher Cemetery, Hamlet. He was a retired engineer at the Westville Correctional Center, a U.S. Army veteran of World War 11, a member of the Wanatah American Legion Post and former member of the Hamlet Lions Club.
