She is a member of the Spirit Club, SADD, Student Council, 4-H and a cheerleader. She enjoys classical ballet, Spanish classic dance, gymnastics, track. 4-H, Photography, crochet, sewing, choir and jazz dancing. She attends John Glenn and plans to go to Indiana State University to become a guidance counselor. She is a member of SADD. co-captain of the Pom Pons, Business Gub, Speech Team, an office aide, year book staff, newspaper staff and Aerial staff member. Craig Stedman Misty Whitmer Fayette Nielsen NORTH LIBERTY PTA TO MEET North Liberty PTA meeting will be November 15th at 7:00 p.m. in the school’s cafeteria. The topic for the evening will be “No TV Day.’’ We invite the whole family to come and get ideas of what you can do instead of turning on the TV for entertainment. Each class at school is encouraged to come and share an idea for “No TV Day.” The class that has the highest percentage of parents, grandparents at the meeting will win S3O to be spent for something in the classroom the children will enjoy. Again this year PTA will hold Santa's Secret Shop on December 3 -7. This is a shop where the children can come and purchase gifts for their family and friends. The gifts are moderately priced. Some of the gifts offered will be jewelry, coffee mugs, tool kits, keyrings, and small toys. GOURMET CLUB MEETS The October meeting of the W'alkerton Area Men’s Gourmet Club was hosted in the home of member John Froyck. Appetizers started the evening with spicy chicken wings, onion and garlic toast with old fashioned pimento spread and peppers dip of mixed vegetables. Egg drop soup was served as the first course. Antoinette Pope's chicken chow mein was the entree along with Cantonese style rice, hot hard rolls and a blush wine. For dessert the members enjoyed angel food cake with chocolate frosting, rainbow sherbert and fortune cookies. Next month’s meeting will be hosted at the home of Jim New. PANCAKE & SAUSAGE BREAKFAST The Knights of Columbus will sponsor an “All You Can Fiat’’ pancake and sausage breakfast, on Sunday, Nov. 18, from 8:00 a m. to 12 noon, at the St. Patrick’s School Hall. The price is $2.50 for adults, $1.50 for children 12 and under and pre-school is free. Everyone is welcome, so come and enjoy a great Sunday breakfast. Use The Classifieds
