For the creative and performing arts portion of the pageant she will be doing a modern dance to "Rhythem Nation." Gwen Davey, daughter of Mrs. Daisy Davey and the late Mr. Paul Davey, of Rt. 3, Walkerton, has black hair, brown eyes and is five foot four inches tall. She attends John Glenn High School and wants to go to Notre Dame to get her Ph. D in psychology. Gwen was a delegate to Girls State and is a member of SADD, FHA, Pom Pons, Crimson Illusion, Sunshine Society, Thespian Society,' Spell Bowl Team, Youth Council at church. Michigan Rd., Plymouth, has blonde hair, blue eyes and is five foot two inches tall. She plans on attending St. Joseph’s College and become a psychologist after graduating from LaVille High School. She is a cheerleader, a member of the Pep Gub, Spanish Club, German Club, Science Gub, FHL, Spell Bowl team, Band and SADD. She enjoys Pom Pons, collecting bears and the ski club. She attends John Glenn and wants to go to Southwestern Michigan College to become an athletic trainer. She is a member of the French Club, Art Club, SADD, Photography Club, Ecology Club, Varsity Gub and an office aide. She enjoys playing the piano, volleyball, basketball, track and Junior Olympic volleyball. For the performing arts portion of the pageant she will be playing the piano and has selected "Maple Leaf Ray.” PATRICIA CHRISTENSEN Patricia Christensen, daughter of Carl and Mary Ann Christensen, St. Rd. 23, Walkerton, has light brown hair, brown eyes and stands five foot six inches tall. She attends John Glenn and plans on attending DePauw University and become a professor of art history. She is a member of Spanish, French and Ecology Gubs, Art Gub, Art Honor Society, SADD, 4-H Gub, 1988 Indiana State Fair fashion review winner, 1990 overall 4-H fashion review winner at the state fair, 1990 Indiana state delegate to the national 4-H Gub Congress and is currently a commentator at St. Patrick’s Church. She received three gold keys in art and an honorable mention in the regional Scholastic Art Show. She enjoys painting, printmaking, sewing, modeling and volleyball, track, Pom Pons, skiing and jogging.
