ated with two fireside baskets of pink and white dasies and baby’s breath placed at the altar. Mrs. Kennedy, organist of the church, provided the nupital music. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Fink, of Niles, Mich, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Wiley, of North Liberty. The bride chose a white Italian lace gown with seed pearls and sequined bodice over white taffeta. She carried a bouquet of pink and white roses. Maid of honor was Sue Ely, of Niles and bridesmaids were Kelly Webber, Kristy Webber, of Niles and Rochelle Litteral, sister of the groom, of North Liberty. The attendants were in black hooped formals with pink underlaying ruffles and they carried long stemmed pink roses. Serving as best man was Robert Litteral 11, brother-in-law of the groom, of North Liberty and groomsmen were Mark Fink, brother of the bride, Jeremy Canton, of Niles and Ken Crum, of Walkerton. A reception for 200 quests was held at the Crumstown Conservation Cub which was decorated in black and pink. A wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico was taken and the couple are at home in Walkerton. Cheryl Carr, sister of the groom and Miss Amy Litteral registered the guests. BETTER HOMES CELEBRATES WITH HALLOWEEN PARTY Norma Eddinger hosted the annual Halloween party October 22 for members of the Better Homes Extension Homemakers Club with Gerri Ruby assisting. The spacious new addition at the Eddinger home was festive with Halloween decorations. Costume judging was conducted with prizes awarded to Vi Masterman as Miss America from Mars; Judy Haag as a Playboy Bunny; and Mary Hahn as the wicked old witch from the east. Game prizes were awarded Mary Hahn, Veryl Wathen and Marty Malstaff. Nancy Stickley won the door prize. Party favors were Halloween pencils for each of the 10 members and one guest, Judy Haag. Alda Ray presided at the meeting and had a first reading of the proposed changes in the Club Constitutiion and By-Laws. It was agreed to send $25.00 to the

Vi Masterman gave the health and safety report on taking vitamins; Mary Hahn gave the citizenship report reminding members to get out and vote November 5; and Veryl Wathen read a poem, “All The Fun Os Halloween’’, for Cultural Arts. Marty Malstaff reported on recent county acitivities including the bus trip she took to Frankenmuth, Michigan and also the quilting series conducted by Mary Ann Cross, County Extension Agent from Elkhart. The next meeting will be decorating a sweatshirt November 26 at the home of Mary Hahn. A representative from S & J Ceramincs at Plymouth will provide the paint at a cost of $5.00. The all-cotton sweatshirt or T-shirt should be washed, but do not use any fabric softener. Bring a piece of cardboard to work on. Guests are welcome as prospective new members. Female lions do over 90% of the hunting for their pride.
