BRANTLEY Mr. Danny Lin Brantley, 26, of Commerce, Texas, formerly of Walkerton, passed away on Thursday, November 1, at his home. He was born on June 5, 1964, to Kent and Jackie (Scarborough) Brantley, in South Bend. He was an ROTC cadet student at Eastern Texas State University, where he was commander of the Arnold Air Society and vice commander of the cadet corps and was a member of the Oklahoma City Knights of Columbus. He married Kimberly Revene, on June 29, 1985, in Oklahoma City, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Danny Lin II and Chad, both at home; his mother, Jackie Frazier, of Wabash; his father, Kent, of Grovertown; three brothers, Denny, of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio; Jeremy, of Grovertown; and David Frazier, of Wabash; five sisters, Jennifer, of Grovertown; and Karie, Karena, Kristie and Keiie Frazier, all of Wabash; and his grandparents. Dale and Evelyne Scarborough and Violet Brantley, all of Walkerton. Services were held at 12:00 noon on Monday at the Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel with Rev. Charles Dye officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Walkerton, where military rites by the Walkerton American Legion Post 189 were held. ■OY R. COLES Roy Raymond Coles, 76, of 2926 Erskine Blvd., South Bend, passed away at 11:45 a.m., on Friday, Nov. 2, in Medco Center. He was born on March 16, 1914, in Swartz Creek, Mich., and lived in South Bend since 1945, coming from Michigan. He married Edith Adele Flack in Nov. 1941, who preceded him in death on August 14, 1974. On April 14, 1961, he I married Edith Eilene Travis, in 1 South Bend, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Edith Louise Drcar, of Solana Beach, Calif.; a son, Clare Raymond, of Traverse City, Mich.; five grandchildren and a sister, Dorothy Jones, of Bloomfield Hills, Mich. Services were held at 1:30 p.m., on Monday at the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, South Bend, with Rev. Don Utterback, pastor of the Grace United Church, of which he was a member, officiating. Burial was at Riverview Mausoleum, South Bend. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or to the college of Pharmacy, University of Michigan. He was a pharmacist for 52 years and owned Coles Pharmacy from 1952 until 1966, later working for Buschbaum Pharmacy and retiring from HansBurkart Pharmacy in June of 1990 after 20 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War 11, a graduate of the University of Michigan, which in 1988 honored him for 50 years of membership in the College of Pharmacy.
