Einspahr, 61, of Route 4, Box 345, Walkerton, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 16, at St. Joseph’s Medical Center, South Bend, at 8:17 a.m. She was born on July 26, 1929, in Cedar Lake to Edward and Emma (Haehnel) Rich, and lived in the area for 19 years coming from Hebron. She married Alfred E. Einspahr, on Feb. 9, 1952, in Crown Point, who survives. She was manager of the Hanna Convenience Store and worked at Koontz Lake Supermarket. Also surviving are three sons, William and Thomas, both of Plymouth and Martin, of Walkerton; two daughters, Brenda Dyniewski and Jennifer, both of Walkerton; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Gilbert Rich, of Argos, and Lloyd Rich, of Valparaiso; and one sister, Adeline Rich, of Crown Point. Services were held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday at the Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel, with burial in Maplewood Cemetery, Crown Point. DEAN A. BROGDON Dean Allen Brogdon, 19, of 2300 Stevens Ave., Elkhart, passed away at 2:21 am., on Friday, Oct. 19, in Elkhart General Hospital of gunshot wounds suffered on Wednesday afternoon in the home of an acquaintance. The acquaintance is being held while the incident is investigated. He was born on March 30, 1971, in South Bend and had lived in Elkhart for three years moving there from Walkerton. Surviving are his father and stepmother, Walter and Barbara Brogdon, of Elkhart; two sisters, Kimberly Porter and Misty Clemons, both of Tyner; two brothers, Walter D. Jr. and Richard J., both of Elkhart; two stepsisters, Tamra Groose, of

Services were held at 10:30 a.m., on Monday, at the Weisheimer Funeral Home, South Bend, with burial in Southlawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association. The original Library of Congress, consisting of 3,000 volumes, was m - cinerated by the British in the War of 1812.
