EMT Training Program To Begin In Walkerton Fmergencv Medical Technician Training Program bv S’. Joseph's Medical Center, of South Bend, will begin in November, here in Walkerton. Classes will be on Mondav and Wednesday sessions and Tuesday and Thursday sessions. Af'er the first of the year here will be Sa’urdav sessions. Weeknigh's the classes will be from 6-30 to 10 00 p.m. Classes will be held a' the Walkerton \mbulance Service. Michigan St. and 'he fee is $225.00 per student which includes textbooks and course ma'erials. Checks are to be made pavable to S'. Joseph’s Medical Cen'er. The course will be open to 25 regis'ran's. Holmes reminds al! personalized license plate owners to renew their reservation for their 1991 plate before October 31st. All personalized license plate holders who intend to have the same plate next year must rereserve their plate before the last day of October. After October 31st. the plate will be open to the public for reservation on a first come, first serve basis. ‘‘We understand that it. people's busy schedules they may overlook a deadline such as this one. Therefore we are sending out reminder letters to current PLP holders who have not renewed, as well as sending out this message to those who for one reason or another might overlook the receipt of that letter.” said Holmes. Customers, who intend to get a PLP for the first time must go to their local license branch where thev intend to pick up their plate. OCTOBER SERIES OF WORKSHOPS FOR SUPPORT SELF Support SELF continues to offer workshops for anyone intersted in exchanging information and sharing resources on pertinent topics presented. Support SELF is offered in cooperation with Ancilla College. Lindenwood Retreat Center, and The Single Parent Program of Marshall County.
