PRESENT JOHN GLENN BAND AWARDS The John Glenn Band Boosters presented their awards to students who participated in the instrumental music program in grades 6-12 during an evening awards program in early May. One of the highlights of the evening was the presentation of the John Phillip Sousa Band Award to senior Edward Karst. Other special awards presented were to Crimson Illusion members: Angie Bussard. Katie Jacob and Sheila Micinski. Angie received the outstanding individual award; Katie was named most valuable performer and Sheila was named most improved performer. The band officers were recognized and out-going band president. Chris King, made a brief speech. Sixth graders receiving the large, black and white, first year award ribbons included: Holly Amor.
