Mr. and Mrs. Harris Howard, of 29749 State Road 4, North Liberty, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. June 24 at the Community Building in North Liberty. Harris and Roberta Rice were married on June 27. 1940 in Carver. Kentucky. They have resided in North Liberty for 44 years. Mr. Howard retired
JOHN GLENN TENNIS CAMP The 1990 John Glenn summer tennis camp will be held July 9-13 where campers will be instructed in the basic fundamentals of tennis. A tournament will be held the last day of camp with trophies being presented to the winners in each age group. All participants will received a participation ribbon. Each camper is to furnish their own racquet, shoes and clothing. A $3.00 fee is required to cover

June 22, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday, June 23. from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the North Liberty Elementary School. Materials that can be recycled at this time are aluminum cans, scraped aluminum (rinsed out), newspapers (in paper bag), corrugated cardboard (staples removed). brown, clear and green glass (unbroken, rinsed out, cap removed) and brown plastic bottles (cola, soap. milk, etc., rinsed out and caps removed).
