dents participating. Tyler was a regional winner with his drawing. ERIN RUFF HONORED Erin Ruff, daughter of Robert ’ and Linda Ruff. Walkerton, was j honored at the Altrusa Club ban- , quet. Tuesday. May 22. She was one of 12 area recipients of the j club’s community service awards for dedication to better citizenry । through self-improvement and , community service. Erin was nominated for this award by John Glenn High School principal, gui- , dance counselors and teachers.

There were over 60 club members, award recipients and their parents at the Elks Lodge, South Bend. Erin received a charm bracelet, award certificate and savings bond at the program. 75 Years Os Education From Lib. Twp. Schools idw Severn y-five years ago (1915) M.D. Whitmer, age 92, graduated from high school in North Liberty. The school was then at the comer of Center and Jefferson Streets where Five Star store now stands. Fifty years ago (1940) his daughter. Margaret Davis, graduated from the school built in 1926. Twentyfive years ago (1965) his granddaughter. Connie J. Oke. graduated from the North Liberty High School which now is the elementary school. June 2. 1990 marks the North Liberty Alumni Banquet where these three classes. 1915. 1940. and 1965 will be honored. TEEN BIBLE TIME The North Liberty Church of Christ will be holding Teen Bible Time from 6:45 to 9:15 p.m.. Sundav. June 10 through Thursday. June 14th. Each evening we will have a different speaker for the devotional hour and we will recieve an offering. All youth 7th grade through college age are invited. Be sure to wear suitable clothing for outdoors. Bring a bible, pencil, insect repellant. paper for notes and a blanket to sit on. Campfire, singing and refreshments nightly.
