NORTH LIBERTY BY GLADYS SHENEMAN Dinner guests Tuesday of Susie Teter, in Mishawaka, were her son. Ronald and his wife. Sherri, of Santa Fe, New Mexico; Ray and Fvchn Stoneburner, of Plymouth; Gladys Sheneman. of North Liberty and Dale Cochran, of South Bend. The Teters arrived Sunday evening from Neu Mexico to spend a few days visiting relatives and friends. Cecil and Vera Williams are now residents of Miller Merry Manor, in Walkerton. Evelyn Stonebumer entertained her graduating class of 1940 at her home in Plymouth on Saturday afternoon. Marie Maddalena. an alumni oanquet. There w ere 20 present to enjoy reminising about good old Tyner High School. Lloyd (Duke) Singleton and wife. Diana, of Chesterton arrived Sunday at the home of his mother. Irene Singleton and took her to the Phoenix Restaurant for a belated Mother’s Day dinner. Beatrice O’Daffer. of Mishawaka. spent the weekend with Gladys Sheneman and they attended the Tvner Alumni Banquet, on Saturday evening, held at the John Glenn High School. On Sunday, they accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Schmeltz to Munday’s Resturant. in Plymouth, for dinner and then attended Gloria’s (their daughter) pre-school 7th annual graduation, with 26 little preschoolers taking pan in the program. About 200 attended. They were then supper guests of Gene and Norma Patrick on the way home. Other callers were Nell Patrick, of Walkerton and daughter. Carol Buettner and her daughter. Jill, of LaPorte. Mr. and Mrs. Foster Logan, of Lakeville, will be celebrating their 56th wedding anniversary on Sunday. May 27. Tvner High School for several years. His wife. Mary, taught kindergarten at the Methodist Church in North Liberty for 7 years when Rav Mills was pastor. Please remember Hope Matz, wife of Wayne Matz, who was a patient in the hospital in South Bend, she returned home on Monday. She was unable to attend her SOih class reunion, but her son. Sieve, taped the alumni banquet program so she will be able to see and hear it. Want you to know we are all thinking of you. About 240 attended the 70th alumni banquet held Saturday . evening at the John Glenn High School cafeteria. A delicious swiss । sieak dinner was served by the school cooks. Roger Swanson and Mike Matz were master of cere- , monies. The oldest graduate , present was Lawrence Burch, of Plymouth, who graduated in 1914 । and next was Bernice O’Daffer of Mishawaka, who graduated in 1922. They both received boxes of candy along with Gloria Kreig, of f Plymouth, who was the youngest r present, graduating in the class of 1966. The classes of 1940 and 1965 , were both honored. They also gave recognition to Dwight Burch who has driven school bus for 41 1 years and they presented him with a beautiful plaque. Two former A basketball coaches were also present, namely Jim Drews, of MichiI gan and John Hans, of Berne. I Indiana.
