School. Advanced art students skillfully guided visitors thru the journey. Visitors were guided by arrows that pointed to the history of art. Once they arrived to the back of the building, the old industrial arts room, they paused to watch a slide show that combined famous art work with studdent works of art. Advanced art students then proved that they not only could win contests, but also talk about art. Each group of visitors had a tour guide that first offered a sticker that stated. ‘‘You Gotta Have Art.” After visitors passed a small gift shop, library and activity center, they then watched a computer welcome them which was designed by Cathy Van Duyne. Each room contained descriptive handouts and worksheets, music, sculptures, artifacts, costumes or just colorful art prints. In all there were 13 rooms starting at the modern era going all the way back to cave art of 15 B.C. The museum will stay up the rest of the school year and is available to tour by appointment only. Classes arc welcome. TRI KAPPA NEWS At the April 5 meeting of Epsilon Chi Chapter of Tri Kappa there were two new pledges received into the chapter. They arc Joan (Mrs. Norman) Beagles and Kathy (Mrs. Richard) Reese. The Tri Kappas will be selling five different colors of geraniums at their bake sale, which will be held at the Walkerton Farmers State Bank on Saturday. May 5 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The proceeds of this sale will pay for scholarships for John Glenn graduating Seniors.
