WALKERTON WOMEN’S AGLOW TO MEET Walkerton Women's Aglow Fellowship will be meeting at the Community Building on Thursday. April 19, with refreshments at 9:00 and praise and worship at 9:30 a.m. The speaker will be Helen Brutcher from Logansport. Indiana. Frank and Helen have been married for 36 years. They have two daughters and two grandchildren. In the last five years, they have accepted the opportunity for growth experienced through two Christian workcamps in Kentucky and Haiti. In seeking first the kingdom of God. Helen is finding that there are workcamps and other calls and responsibilities along the pathway. On Sundays. Helen is a teacher of the Word, a student of the Word twice a week in Bible Studies, a helper and server through church work and volunteer activities and an intercessor with two or three others once a week. She is also treasurer of the Northwest Indiana Aglow Board. Helen is humbled to be chosen as God's vessel to share His word and His love with us. We invite you to join us and bring a friend. HOLY WEEK SERVICES AT MAPLE GROVE CHURCH During Holy Week, special services will be held at Maple Grove United Methodist Church, located on the corner of Maple and New Roads. At 7:00 p.m. on Maundy Thursday. April 12. Holy Communion will be served by the pastor. Gaylord Saltzgaber, at tables in the fellowship hall. Readings which will depict the Last Supper of Christ with his disciples in the upper room, will be read by Bruce Weber, Bunter Kison, Mary Whybrew and Lucille Donathen. The Chancel Choir, directed by Mary Ann Gradeless and accompanied by Lesa Piech, will sing. “Eat The Bread. Drink The Wine.” Easter Sunday activities will begin with a Sunrise Service at 7:00 a.m.. the message. "Cut Down, Lifted Up” will gc given by the pastor. “Alleluia.
