Sally Keeling Promoted At Miller’s Manor r Christy Clark administrator at Miller’s Merry Manor, has announced the promotion of Sally K. Keeling. R.N. Sally has been promoted to director of nursing services at the Walkerton facility. Sally has 30 years experience in the nursing field, and has served 10 years at Miller’s Merry manor where she previously held the title of resident care coordinator. She and her husband, Jim. reside in rural Walkerton where they enjoy spending time with each other, their children and grandchildren. RETURNS TO WALKERTON Mary Jane Beaty has arrived back in Walkerton after spending the past four months in warmer climate with her two daughters, in California and New Mexico. ENGAGED JHI Brian Parker and Kim Van Rhee announce their engagement. Brian lives in Holland. Michigan and Kim. in Feeland. Michigan. Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. Den Van Rhee, of Zicland and his parents are Mr. and Mrs. Richard Parker, of Walkerton. The bride-elect is a graduate of Zeeland High School and Central Michigan University. She is an elementary teacher with the West Ottawa District Schools. The prospective groom is a graduate of John Glenn High School and the University of Notre Dame. He is a quality control engineer at Donnelly Corp., in Holland. Michigan. The couple are planning a July 21 wedding. Monday, the 26th, at the Walkerton Community Building. A salad bar was enjoyed by our guests, the Johnson Twp. Extension Club, pastor Marilyn Gebert and Janet Bicrly. Prayer was given by Mary Hahn. A get acauainted game was played right after the meal. Winners were Norma Eddinger, Veryl Wathen. Evelyn Eddinger, Janet Bicrly and Josephine Smith. Door prizes were awarded to lucky plates recipients, Marty Malstaff and Mary Hahn, the lucky chair winner. Our guest speaker, pastor Gebert, from the Walkerton United Methodist Church, talked on her experiences as a woman minister. More and More women have received the call to the ministry. She loves her work and feels this is what the Lord wants her to do. We wish her many wonderful years. The business meeting was conducted by our president. Norma Eddinger.
