GREEN BEAN BAKE TURNS 35 This year marks the 35th anniversary of one of the most popular recipes of all-time—Campbell’s Classic Green Bean Bake. Created in the ('ampbell Kitchens in 1955. Bensalem, PA 19020 Green Bean Bake 1 can (10 3/4 ounces) Dash pepper Campbell’s condensed 4 cups cooked green beans cream of mushroom soup 1 can (2.8 ounces) French IZ2 cup milk fried onions 1 teaspoon soy sauce 1. In 1 1/2-quart casserole, combine soup, milk, soy sauce and Pepper. Stir in green beans and 1/2 of the onions. 2. Bake at 350*F. for 25 minutes or until hot; stir. Top with remaining onions. Bake 5 minutes more. Makes about 4 1/2 cups or 6 servings Microuuic In 1 1/2-quart micro wave-safe casserole, stir soup until smooth. Add milk, soy sauce and pepper; stir until well blended. Stir in beans and 1/2 of the onions. Cover with lid; microwave on HIGH 7 minutes or until hot and bubbling, stirring once during cooking. Sprinkle with remaining onions. Microwave, uncovered, on HIGH 1 minute. TIP Buy 1 package (16 to 20 ounces) froaen green beans, 2 packages (9 to 10 ounces each) frozen green beans, 2 cans (about 16 ounces each) cut green beans or about 1 1/2 pounds fresh green beans for this recipe.
