Mollenhauer Chosen For HOBY Seminar MH F 1 I •SUBh* at '* E <218? J Rebecca Mollenhauer has been selected as John Glenn High School’s candidate for the Hugh O’Brian Youth (HOBY) Leadership Seminar. HOBY seminars arc held in each slate during the spring to gather a select group of high school sophomores with leadership qualities with a group of distinguished leaders in various professions. They interact during informal discussions aimed at giving students a realistic view of what makes the American incentive system work. Rebecca is very active in 4-H. She has been a reporter, secretary and song leader in her local club. She has also served as a Junior Leader and camp counselor. In school Rebecca is a strong student and is active in Students Against Drunk Driving and Spanish Club. Rebecca is the daughter of Ellen L. Miller and Michael Mollcnhaucr. consisted of hot olive cheese puffs, bagel chips and cheese with cocktail rye. The first course was homemade pea soup. Ihe salad was a shrimp cocktail with tangy dip. For the main dish broiled gingery lamb chops, herbed orange rice, sauteed celery with green onions and hard rolls were served. A California Chablis with a twist was the dinner wine. After a brief interlude to discuss upcoming meetings dessert was served. German chocolate cake with coconut frosting, heavenly hash and Swedish coffee finished the evening along with Parducci Saurignon Blanc Late Harvest wine.
