He was born on October 22, 192 b. in Walkerton, He was a chief radioman with the U. S. Navv His vsife. Virginia, survives. Also surviving arc two daughters. Jeannine Woltz and Vickie Goodwin. both of Bradenton: three sisters. Jane Schultz, of Hanna. Virginia Berg, of Hamlet, and I i«ida Brown, of South Bend; and five grandchildren. Memorial services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, in Brown Funeral Home. Bradenton. Cremation followed. He was a member of the Scottish Rue. Free and Accepted Masons of Walkerton. Veterans of Furcigh Wars and (he American Legion. Kirbv Stewart Post. Bradenton. KATHERINE I. WELDY Katherine I. Weldy. Hb. of Regency Place, passed away at 5:30 a.m.. on Saturday. October 28. She was born on April 12. 1903. in Kewanna and had lived in this area since 196". coming from North Libertv. She married Gerald W. Weldy on February 23. as Katherine Troutman, in Winamac, who preceded her in death in 1955. Surviving are two sons. Lawrence W. and Richard E.. both of South Bend; 13 grandchildren; many great and great great-grand-children; and five sisters. Marv Heuck. of Little Rock. Ark.. Ella Teal and Grace Conner, both of Sun City. Arizona. Billie Hood, of Yuma. Arizona, and Julia Weaver, of South Bend. A daughter. Elizabeth Karowski. preceded her in death. Services were held at 1 00 p.m.

Combine crumbs and margarine. Press firmly on bottom and halfway up side of 9-inch springform pan. In large mixer bowl, beat cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Add remaining ingredients except whipped topping; mix well. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes or until cake springs back when lightly touched (center will be slightly soft). Coo! to room temperature. Chill. Serve with whipped topping. Garnish as desired. Refrigerate leftovers.

Walkerton, was pronounced deal at 10:15 p.m. Monday as a result of a heart attact suffered a half hour earlier w hile he was driving in the 500 block of South Michigan Street. South Bend. According to city police. Albert's northbound car swerved to the right striking a parked vehicle. St. Joseph County Deputy Coroner Thomas Trenerry said Albert died of natural causes and not as a result of the accident. He was born Julv 9. 1930. in Marshall County and hail been a lifelong area resident. He had lived to Walkerton for a year coming from North Libertv where he had lived for 40 wars.
