An open house to honor the 50th wedding anniversary of Mvrl and Ralph Dixon will be held in the Fellowship Hall of the Presbyterian Church, Walkerton, on November 5. from 2.00 to 4:30 p.m. Ralph Dixon and Myrl Sevceney were married on November 4. 1939. in the Presbyterian Church. Louisville. Kentucky. They have lived tn Walkerton for 41 years, coming from Scottsburg. Indiana. They have one daughter. Myrlynn J. Bella, of North Liberty and two grandchildren. Tonya Lynn and Stephen Paul and one great-grand-child. Sondra Lee Bella. Ralph retired from the Bendix Corportation. South Bend, in 1977.

Mr. Warren attended the Farm Progress Show in Rochester, held September 2b through September 28. and registered for the free grill at the "Electric Ideas" tent sponsored by the Electric Heating Institute of Indiana. The Institute is supported by the state's investor owned utilities. REMC's. power associations, and electrical equip merit suppliers. The purpose of the exhibit is to project to agricultural customers, a common image of electric companies as organizations that serve their needs with ideas and products which use electricity. The Farm Progress Show is the largest annual farm show held in the Midwest. It was estimated that over 200.000 visitors were attracted to the three-day event. Homemakers Association is hosting a program entitled "Holiday Cookies" on Wednesday. November I. It w ill be held at the Esther Singer Building at the fairgrounds, corner of Ironwood and Jackson Roads.
