October 6, the Walkerton Historical Society will display items which have been donated or are on loan to the Society. Former Walkerton resident Esther Hinz Gerber, has donated a quantity of Civil War and post war letters of her ancestors, the Peter Q. Nichols and the John H. Yoder families. The Nichols and Yoder families were residents of the Tyner area. Also, on display will be postcards and snapshots pertaining to the area, some donated, others, prints of originals.
