CHAPTER 3 OF THE NORTH LIBERTY TOWN CODE RELATING TO PARKING OF MOTOR VEHICLES BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF NORTH LIBERTY. INDIANA THAT: Section 1. Title 3. Article 2. Chapter 3 of the North Liberty Town Code is hereby amended by changing Section 5 thereof to read as follows: Section 5. It shall be unlawful for any driver or operator of a motor vehicle to park said motor vehicle on the West side of the three hundred (300) block of South Main Street between the Northwest comer of the intersection of West Maple Avenue and South Main Street and the South line of a certain fourteen

If any section or part of this Ordinance or Code be for any reason held unconstitutional or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portion of the Ordinance or Code, but the remaining portion shall be and remain in full force and effect. She told us about our picnic that will be held at Jellystone Park on July 12th. we will have a bus for transportation plus a few private cars for the less able. On Tuesday Fred and Opal Bullinger were the chairmen, they were celebrating thier anniversary and treated everyone to a beautifully decorated cake. Reverend Marilyn Gebert and her husband were our guests. Rev. Gebert is the new pastor of the Walkerton United Methodist Church and we are pleased to welcome her to the community and hope she will visit us often. Mary Hahn was welcomed back on Wednesday and she had us all up on our feet doing the hokey pokey. After the meal we all enjoyed a game of bingo and prizes for all. We play until everyone is a winner. Millie Daniels was our chairman on Thursday. On Friday Verice Walz was chairman and she played for us and Millie led us in singing. Juice winners tor the week were Marty Malstaff, Dora Davis. Bess Ferverda and Art Krehbiel. We wish a speedy recovery to Eddie Schaffer, Carolyn Danielewski. Jim Thibodeaux and Bud Knng. Plans are now in the making for another blood pressure clinic that will be held the last week in July. Remember to get your meal reservation in the day before you want to eat, the number to call is 586-7600 between the hours of 10:00a.m. and 1:00 p.m. On Friday interested chairmen and Iva met with a committee from REAL Services. South Bend, about a site director to take Iva’s place for three weeks while her husband is recovering from surgery. Our group felt the site director should be paid as Iva will not be for this period This was vetoed bv the

South Bend committee as not in compliance with federal law. Our group decided not to shut the site down but instead have a volunteer site director each day.
