Mrs. Joe Yocum, of Valparaiso, and Mrs. Vi Masterman returned home on Saturday after spending 14 days with Mr. and Mrs. Rex Masterman and family, in Plano, Texas. While they were there Mrs. Shirley Whitaker and Mrs. Ken Wray, of Grapevine. Texas, visited with them. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Beagles entertained Sunday with a birthday dinner for their son. Norman Beagles. Other guests were Joan Beagles, Tim Beagles and son Timmy. Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Cowger, of Indianapolis, were here last Tuesday and Wednesday visiting with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Cowger. A group of ladies went to the playhouse, in Michigan City, on Saturday evening, to see the play “South Pacific” and enjoyed dinner at one of the favorite restaurants. An enjoyable evening was spent by all. higher during the spring term were so honored. Wittenberg is a private liberal arts university of 2,200 students af-' filiated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The university is located in Springfield. Ohio. 50TH CLASS REUNION Fourteen members and spouses of the 1939 Walkerton Lincoln Township class met for dinner at the Plymouth Holiday Inn. on Saturday evening. July 1. for the 50th anniversary of the class. Mr. Phillip Heacox and wife, of Greensboro, North Carolina, had traveled the farthest for the reunion. It was an interesting evening as each member of the class was asked to stand up and give their highlights of the past 50 years. Mr. William Bellinger and wife, of North Manchester, invited everyone to their home in 1990. CORRECTION in last week’s Koontz Lake Enhancement story, it was wrongly reported to us that the Koontz Lake Conservation Cub had donated $526.69 to the fund.
