North Liberty Dennis and Rhonda Ruch, of Denver, Colorado, flew in Friday to spend the weekend with Rodger Morris and family and other relatives who called to greet them. They also called on Rhonda's grandmother. Pauline Howell. Bob and Norma Hocker returned home Saturday evening after having spent the past two weeks in Florida visiting relatives and friends. While there they spent a few days their daughter Leann and her husband Russell Schelling and sons, -t Carmel, and then they spent some time with Norma s sister, Marge and Bob Weiss, of Sebring. They saw many North Liberty friends and Bob even played croquet with Abe Bulla and Bill Bauman. Ask Bob who won. Marv Springman was admitted to Miller's Mcrrs Manor Nursing Home last Friday. Judy Springman entertained with a birthday dinner for her husband Bill on Sundas Others present were her mother. Helen McEndarfer and her sister. Sharon McEndarfer and her son Enc. All enjoyed old movies of the family in the afternoon. Happy belated birthdas to Ber nice Farrar, who recently celebrat cd her 91st birthdav. Shanin McGee, formerly of North Liberty now living in Walkerton. returned to her home last Monday after undergoing surgery in Christ Hospital. Cincinnati. She is slowly recovering and I'm sure she would appreciate hearing from her North Liberty friends She is the daughter of Bob and Gladys Shaffer. Her address is 130 Gem ini Lane. Walkerton. Our sympathy goes to Gale Mcr nek and his family in the death of his wife. Betty (Shencman) Mcr nek. on Sunday. Remember him as he formerly managed the Drug Store. Can you remember when Tec garden had a band and also had band concerts* The band was called the "Tccgardcn Stnng Band ". Their theme song was the Tccgardcn March ". Those that played in the band were Mrs Ada Keck, piano; Tillis Stanton and Carl Robinson, violin, Cecil Robinson. Forest Lehman. Ras Winrotte and Cal Bates, guitar; Charles Mvcrs. bango; John Freed, mandolin. Elmer Freeland and Dallas Spaid. drums.
