JOHNSON JUNIORS MEET lire Johnson Juniors met on September 21, at 7:30 p.m., in the Community Building with six members attending. President Gayla Dipert led the meeting bringing up such topics as the County Christmas Workshop, county invovement and participation, including the county president attending our club meeting in October, making centerpieces for the Soil and Water Conservation Department banquet and the Halloween party. Sandy Thomas gave the lesson showing the procedure for counted cross stitching on sweaters and sweatshirts. Denise Daube served refreshments of chocolate chip cookies and ice tea or pop. IN BALL STATE MARCHING BAND George Karst, 18, a freshman at Ball State University, Muncie, is a member of the 1988 marching band, “The Pride Os Mid-Ameri-ca“. He is majoring in music and is a graduate of John Glenn High School. He is the son of Frederick and Judith Karst, 31367 State Road 4, North Liberty.
