ENJOY JOHNSON TWP. 50TH REUNION The 50th Johnson Twp. Reunion was held on Sunday. September 25, at the community building. A delicious ham and pot luck dinner was held at 12:30 with all repeating the Lord's prayer. Harold Knowlton welcomed all and conducted the business meeting. New officers for next year were announced as follows: Roy Williams. chairman; Floyd Dipert, vice chairman; Ruth Uliery, secretarytreasurer; Sidney Smith, historian; and the dinner committee will be Alma Daube, John and Ruth Dreessen and Larman and Peggy Kaser. Violet Wolff and Donna Bowers played an enjoyable music through-

out the afternoon. Floyd Dipert conducted a white elephant sale with help from Herb Mantick, John Dreessen and Raymond Smith, which everyone enjoyed. Door prizes were awarded to Raymond Smith, John Garab, Martha Dipert and John and Ruth Dreessen. Ice cream and the 50th anniversary cake, made by the Ullerys, were served. Everyone had a very enjoyable day and are looking forward to next year's reunion. REAL SERVICES NEWS Two volunteers are needed at the Nutrition Site, one to deliver meals to shut-ins who live just a few blocks from the site; and other person or persons are needed who will be willing to pick up seniors and bring them to the site and home again. on certain days, this has worked out well in the past and is not burdensome to just a few people. An interesting program was held on Tuesday. Judy Davies and Ken Jones came from Elkhart and spoke about the many changes that have come about in the Medicare program. Seventy-six seniors attended. Jim Thibodeaux also spoke to us about an insurance policy for seniors. Evelyn Stoneburner won a gallon of cider and Grace Pugsley won a pen. Richard Uliery offered the blessing. Marian Chapman and Verice Walz took blood pressures on Thursday and we are very grateful to them for this service. Fred and Millie sang for us several days and Verice played the piano. Juice winners for the week were Moe Walker. Ellen Cochran. Madge Tracy, Bonnie Steinke and Mary Jane Beaty. Coming attractions are Gospel
