dents from the audience, he demonstrated traditional faces that clowns often use including the white face, the Auguste and the sad clown. Pictured are Alicia Gensinger. They were interviewed on Channel 22 News and were awarded free tickets to the Kelly-Miller circus that was in town on Friday afternoon. STUDENTS INVITED TO WATCH THE RAISING OF THE BIG TOP On Friday morning, September 9, the morning sections of PreKindergarten, Kindergarten and the two first grades of North Liberty School were invited to watch the raising of the big top of the Kelly-Miller Brothers circus at the North Liberty Industrial Park. The circus was sponsored bv the North Liberty and Greene Twp. Lions Clubs. The classes were intrigued by the obedient 20-year old elephant who quietly aided in the men's labor to erect the main tent. They got to see the animals before the crowds came and enjoyed making word lists of all that they had seen upon their return to the classroom.
