Make AMe aTWitlHtaliain?lair IM Foods boasting Italian flavors continue to be American favorites. And it’s no wonder; Italian cooking offers such variety. Pasta salads, lasagna and stuffed shells are always popular choices as they lend themselves to many different seasonings and fillings Veal Almond Shell’s With Quick Basil-Tomato Sauce, for example, make an entree easy enough for after work, but special enough for casual entertaining. Large pasta shells hold a savory filling of lean, delicately flavored ground veal, ground pork, mozzarella cheese, zucchini, onion and garlic. Allspice adds a pleasant flavor contrast, the almonds a toasty crunch. Key to a moist, tender stuffing is not to overcook the veal. Cook it and the ground pork just until no longer pink.
