FIVE PROMOTED AT FARMERS STATE BANK Farmers State Bank of Wyatt has announced the promotion of five employees to new positions at the Walkerton office. ^flkjA ^sl ■ B fl ■■■ IB fIHBH JAY F. POTTS Jay F. Potts, vice president, has been named Branch Manager. He replaces Frank Hall, who now is Branch Manager of the bank’s new facility in LaPorte. Head of the bank’s agricultural lending division, Potts came to Farmers State in 1982 from the State Bank of Washington, Indiana, where he was assistant vice president. He attended Vincennes University and is a graduate of the Purdue University Agricultural Banking School. President of the Walkerton Chamber of Commerce, he is past president of the Walkerton Jaycees and a member of the Walkerton Lions Club, St. Joseph County 4-H Fair Inc., St. Joseph County Ag Team and Indiana Society of Agricultural Bankers. He and his wife, Sue, reside in Walkerton with their children, Jason and Lynna. > / > / ( \ ^7 4 r ’ I / / J I ' / LINDA RELOS Linda Relos will sene as Assistant Branch Manager. She joined the bank as a bookkeeper in 1960 following graduation from Walkerton High School. Since that time she has worked as a teller and customer service representative and has completed work in several American Institute of Banking courses. She was made an officer of the bank in 1982. Linda resides in Walkerton, where she has served as president of Walkerton Tri Kappa. She also is a member of the Walkerton Business and Professional Women’s Club, Walk-

A 1985 Purdue University graduate, Brooks began his career at the bank, in August 1985 as an agricultural lender. Since that time he has graduated from the Purdue Agricultural Banking School. A 1976 John Glenn High School graduate, she joined Farmers State in 1977 as a teller. She and her husband, Bill, and their son, Mike, reside in North Liberty. TAMMY DEMETZ Tammy DeMetz has been promoted to Receptionist/Teller. She is a 1981 graduate of John Glenn and has worked as a teller at the bank since July 1986. She is president of the Walkerton Women’s
Softball League and is a member of Walkerton Business and Professional Women. She and her husband, Jeff, live in Walkerton.
