ST. JOHN’S LADIES HONORED AT MOTHERCHILD BANQUET St. John's Lutheran Church. North Liberty, held their MotherChild Banquet Friday evening. May 22. at the church. The ladies and their children were served a delicious family style dinner by the men of the church. An entertaining program was presented following the dinner. Dennis Prout and Bob Umbaugh sang several songs accompanied by Jeanne Harmon at the piano. Al Brenner sang a beautiful solo. Dennis Prout sang some folk songs and Caude McEndarfer gave an anniversary presentation. Also presented was a skit by Pastor Malzahn and Dick Harmon entitled “Men Savoring Shopping

As Women Do”; Elaine Malzahn presented “Memories Os Newlyweds" Charles Kring portrayed Will Rogers in “A Tribute To My Wife And Mother-In-Law”. Children in the program were Martin and Elisabeth Malzahn. who performed “There's A Hole In The Bpcket. Dear Liza". The program closed with the chorus singing “May The Good Lord Bless And Keep You”.
