Tickets are 50 cents apiece. Dessert and coffee or tea can be purchased with one ticket and a lunch of sandwich and coffee or tea costs two tickets. A variety of desserts and sandwiches will be available. This is just one of several activities offered during National Hospital Week, May 10- 16. SWIM LESSONS AND SWIM PASSES AVAILABLE AT COUNTY PARKS Visit a St. Joseph County Parks & Recreation swim area this summer! The St. Joseph County Parks and Recreation Department is offering season swim passes for St. Patrick’s County Park swim pond and Ferrettie/Baugo Creek's Lake Osceola. Passes are now being sold at St. Patrick’s administrative offices located at 50651 Laurel Road in South Bend. Passes are available for families at the rate of S4O for a family of five with each additional family member at $5 each. Individuals may purchase passes at the rate of S2O per season pass. Passes are good at both St. Patrick’s and Ferretti/ Baugo Creek County Parks. Swim areas for the county parks will be open Memorial Day weekend, the weekend of May 30th and 31st, and will begin daily opening June 6. The hours for swimming

A $2.00 service charge per order is applied to orders placed through the Fairgrounds Ticket Office, and Ticketmaster outlets add a convenience charge to each ticket purchased. Other special entertainment planned for the 198’ State Fair includes: the Joie Chitwood Thrill Show, NTPA Grand National tractor pulling, the Stihl Lumberjack Show-A Tribute to America. Harness Racing, the Barnes Professional Rodeo, two nights of the Dynamite Demolition Derby, a Western American Extravaganza, the Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo, and and A RCA 100-mile stock car race.
