growing, the number of Seniors bowling increases, and the competition gets ever keener. This past week saw a fine turnout, with everyone enjoying the fun. Nineteen ladies were bowling, giving the large spectator group an

opportunity to cheer several bowlers of their choice on. as the pins fell in goodly numbers. Doris Crane rolled the high scratch game of 166. followed by Dene Hensley’s 161 and June Baker’s 158. Dene Hensley and Stephanie Kilarski. June Baker and Betty Schrader both had 210 and Helen Bowman and Mildred McKesson both scored 106. Nice bowling, ladies! The high series total was made by Helen Bowman who posted a 441. followed by Dene Hensley’s 439 and Doris Crane's 429. With the ladies using six lanes, the afternoon was filled with lots of banter and laughter! The gents had only 10 bowlers competing this week. Jim Martin rolled the high scratch game of 212, followed by Roman Brehm’s 209 and Bob Spillman’s 196. High handicap game also went to Jim Martin with a nice 262 total. Roman Brehm’s 246 and Bob Spillman's 242 followed distantly. High series total was made by Roman Brehm with a 519, followed by Jim Martin's 513. The last day of Senior Bowling will be April 29. Immeidately after bowling that dav, there will be a dinner at the Walkerton Shady Lanes for all who have registered and prepaid by April 22.
