It's only been two years you’ve been gone but it seems a lifetime has gone by. The memories of you we share the joy of your smile and making us smile with the little things you did and said. We remember the hurt and pain but it was worth it. We had you for as long as we could have and we loved you everyday. You will always be in our hearts and prayers. Loving Family of Benjamin H. CARD OF THANKS
Dear friends, thanks so much for being so thoughtful in the search for Blanche Ricks, our mother and grandmother. The smallest good deed is better by far. Thanks for doing what you could and giving the love you did to help your less fortunate neighbor. You can be sure that you will receive a very great price for your labor. The greatest peace I’ve ever known was found in troubled times. For when I put my trust in God, he eased my troubled mind. Thanks again. The Blanche Ricks Family

As the treacherous searches for Blanche Ricks went on, our confidence and unity in men was retored. Donations of time, food and money were much appreciated by the Walkerton Firemen’s Ladies Auxiliary. Many expenses were incurred through out efforts to keep warm food, coffee and drinks for the searchers as they took turns to get warm and receive their next destination orders. In desperate emergencies like these, it is assuring to know people really pull together forming a strong bond. Thank you very much. Walkerton Volunteer Firemen’s Auxiliary The family of Martha E. Wolfenberger would like to thank the Walkerton Order of Eastern Star, the American Legion, Rev. Don and Betty King, the friends and neighbors for helping us through the time of our loss. The current two year adoption will run out at the end of the 1986-87 school year. Whenever possible it is better to adopt a multi-year calendar, thus corresponding dates are used from school year to school year. However, uncertainties due to actions from the State Legislature sometimes make the multi-year calendar impractical. Below you will find three proposals for the 1987-88 school calendar, if a multi-year calendar is adopted future years would correspond to the calendar shown. Please review these proposals and indicate your preference by returning the coupon provided to: Superintendent's Office John Glenn School Corporation 506 Roosevelt Road Walkerton, IN 46574
